Cannelton, Indiana - Margery Kendall, 85, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Tell City. She was born in Hancock County, Kentucky, on May 14, 1927, daughter of the late Lewis and Myrtle (Crask) Jackson. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Orville; daughter, Connie Harlen, brothers, Robert, Virgil, William, Casper and Paul Jackson; granddaughter, Misty Dawn Carter and a grandson, Gary Riley. A member of Seventh Street Baptist Church, Margery retired in 1991 from Farbest Foods. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, reading and sewing. Surviving are her daughters, Martha Lamar, Dale, IN, Sadie Carter, Tell City, Bonnie K. Lawalin, Cannelton and Velma Riley, Hawesville, KY; son, William H. Kendall, Evanston; sisters, Mary Dickerson, Hawesville, KY, Martha Morris, Hawesville, KY, Reba Green, Fordsville, KY, Sarah Dalton, Fordsville, KY and Sue Payne, Hawesville, KY; brother, Allen Jackson, Hawesville, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Pastor Harold Draper will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Seventh Street Baptist Church.
