Marcella Ballow

Cannelton, Indiana Marcella Ballow, 84, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Cannelton July 26, 1928, daughter of the late Huel and Florence (Barker) Chenault Ellis Childs. Also preceding her in death was her husband William Ballow, Jr., son, William J. Ballow, brothers David and James Chenault and sister, Merelene Pruess. She worked at Indiana Cotton Mill and then retired from Parker Hannifin in 1991 after 27 years. Marcella was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and enjoyed reading and playing bingo. Marcella is survived by; daughters, Joann Critcheloe (Eddie), Tobinsport and Rose Jones (Gerald), Cannelton, brother, Jack Lee Chenault, St. Ann, Missouri, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren 1 great great granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 8:30 until 9:30AM on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
