Bristow, Indiana Maggie Sandage, 87, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Born in Bandon, Indiana on April 1, 1933, Maggie was a graduate of Oil Township, class of 1952. She had worked at General Electric, retiring in 1969. Maggie was a member of Bristow Christian Church and Tell City Chapter 272 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and baking, gardening, and her animals, especially Murl's dog, Jake. Surviving are her children, Carol Bruner (Allen), Birdseye and Bill Sandage (Tammy), Bristow; a sister, Agnes Lewis, Owensboro, Kentucky; grandchildren, Andrea Potter (Jeremy), Brad Bruner (Kerry) and Heather Jones (Jonathan); great grandchildren, Callen Potter, Abigail and Roslyn Bruner, and Willie and Hunter, and nieces and nephews. Maggie is preceded in death by her husband, Murl Sandage in 2015; her parents, Alvin and Pearl (Knieriem) Harbaville, and a brother, Norman Harbaville. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM CST on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial to follow in Bristow City Cemetery. Brother Al Madden will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00AM until service time at the funeral home. While visiting the funeral home or cemetery please know that a mask is to be worn and social distancing is appreciated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bristow City Cemetery, Oakwood Activity Fund or Perry County Humane Society.
