Louise Cunningham

Tell City, Indiana Louise C. Cunningham, 96, passed away October 5, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus surrounded by her family. Born on March 9, 1922 in Leopold, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late, Edwin and Anna (Goffinet) Peter. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Paul Cunningham in 1995, son in law, Keith Meunier and her siblings, Christine Peter, Alice Howe, Lawrence Peter, Marie Devillez and Charlie Peter. Louise was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She could dance, yodel, play guitar and harmonica, was an excellent cook, crocheted beautifully and made tons of quilts. Louise was a Rosie Riveter during WW II. She loved God and her family fiercely and left an impression with everyone she knew. Surviving are her children, Ruth Ann Meunier, Tell City, Charles Cunningham, Leopold, Jerry Cunningham (Debbie), Tell City, Brenda Stutsman (Roy), Tell City and Carolyn Collins (Joel), Tell City; eight grandchildren, Brian Meunier (Callie), Janice Kellems (Mark), Ginger Stephens (Lance), Kelly Rasche (Luke), Jason Cunningham (Collette), Lori Sweat (Adam), Michelle O'Malley and Gretchen Schultz (Matt); twelve great grandchildren, Kyle Meunier, Cole Kellems, Emili, Samantha and Jake Stephens, Hunter and Mitchell Rasche, Maggie and Joe Cunningham, Liam O'Malley, Ross and Graham Schutlz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:30-9:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church.
