Lorraine Simpson

Tell City, Indiana Lorraine Paulin Simpson, 93, passed away May 25, 2015 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Parkin, Arkansas, December 20, 1921, daughter of the late Walter and Lilia (Phelps) Ellis. Also preceding her in death were her husbands, Cornelius Paulin and Howard Simpson, and daughter, Cheryl Darlene Paulin. Lorraine was Methodist by faith and member of Tell City Order of Eastern Star #272. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and playing corn hole. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mosby, Tell City; sister, Margaret Smith, Hardinsburg, KY; two grandchildren, Chris Mosby, Tell City and Mark Mosby, Chester, IL; special friend Cletus H. Foster. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Ann Skiba will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Thursday. There will be an Order of Eastern Star memorial service at 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter or Heart to Heart Hospice, Jasper, Indiana.
