Loretta Epple

Tell City, Indiana Loretta Mae Epple, 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at North Wood Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jasper. She was born on January 14, 1930, in Perry County, daughter of the late Claude and Nova (Underhill) Rickenbaugh. Also preceding her in death was her husband Harold K. Epple in 2002; sister, Wilma Harpenau and brother, Archie Rickenbaugh. Loretta had worked at the Baby Shop in Evansville and General Electric in Tell City in her twenties, then became a homemaker, taking care of her daughter and helping on their family's farm. She was a member of Lilly Dale Church of Christ and enjoyed listening to gospel and country music. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Sermersheim and her husband Roger, St. Anthony; sister, Golda Aders, Bristow; brother, Darrel Rickenbaugh, Jesup, Georgia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM CST Monday, February 23, 2015 at Lilly Dale Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Eddie Olberding will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday and on Monday from 9:00 until 10:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Church of Christ.
