Troy, Indiana - Loren A. Howe, 75, passed away on August 9, 2022 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Apalona on December 9, 1946. Loren was a 1964 graduate of Perry Central High School and was a United States Marine Corp veteran serving his country in Vietnam. He later was a member of Indiana National Guard for several years. Loren was united in marriage in 1984 to Sue Walker. He retired in 2004 from General Electric. Loren enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing grass and riding his four-wheeler. He adored his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Sue Howe, Troy; children, Lonnie Howe (Chris), Rockport and Megan Davis, Tell City; step children, David Mattingly (Susan), Elkhorn, KY, Katherine Dudley (Ken) and Richard Blair (Rena), Campbellsville, KY and John Sagracy (Betty Sexton), Troy; sister, Velma Hubert, Tell City; brother, Steven Howe (Pamela), Gatchel and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceding him in death his parents, Loren H. Howe and Mary E. (Sprinkle) Raley; a daughter, Tena Howe and step children, Cheryl Howe and J.B. Blair. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
