Lola M. Lawson, 89, passed away January 3, 2021 at Golden Living Center. She was born February 5, 1931 in Albany, Kentucky, to Bedford Lee and Lola Mae (Craft) Crawford. A homemaker, Lola loved to socialize, shop, visit with friends and spend time with her cat, Tom. Lola is survived by her daughter; Judy Moskos, Tell City; grandchildren, Josh Maffia (Shelly) and Emily Riley (Curtis); great grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan (Raven), Drew, Autumn, Reece, and Carter Maffia, Adalyn, Kyra, and Ellie Gentry and Brea, Paige and Ella Riley and two great-great grandchildren, Dexter and Kooper Maffia. Preceding her in death besides her parents, was her first husband, Flavle Nolan in 1972; her second husband, Jim Lawson in 2003 and a son, John G. Nolan in 2003. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM CDT at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to any Perry County law enforcement agency.
