Lloyd Pierrard

Cannelton, Indiana Lloyd G. Pierrard, 75, passed away Friday April 15, 2011 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. Lloyd was born May 26, 1935 in Wolf Creek Kentucky son of the late Edward J. and Ella C. (Cassidy) Pierrard. He married the former Eugenia ""Jean"" M. Weatherholt February 9, 1963. Jean passed away in 2009. Also preceding Lloyd in death was a son, Kenneth Stephens, two sisters, Mildred Keith and Wilma Patmore and two brothers, Oliver ""Buck"" and Donald J. ""Joe"" Pierrard. Lloyd was an employee of Tell City Chair Company for over thirty years. He was a United States Army veteran, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He is survived by: A daughter: Bobbie Miller, Tell City, IN A sister: Marian Sprinkle, Tell City, IN A brother: William Pierrard, Tell City, IN 4 Grandchildren: Kena Meunier, Tyra Preston, Gerald Stephens, Brian Shoemaker 14 Great grandchildren A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday April 19, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Barnabas Gillespie OSB officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Monday and from 8:00 until 9:30 AM Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church.
