Lisa Hubert

St. Croix, Indiana Lisa Christine Hubert, 47, of St. Croix passed away at 11:25 AM Monday, December 7, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital, Evansville, Indiana. Lisa was born in Jasper, Indiana on October 30, 1962. After completing her high school education, she earned an art degree from Vincennes University and furthered her education online. Lisa was married at St. Isidore in 1988 to Daniel Hubert. Being very artistic, Lisa enjoyed painting, drawing, crafts and crocheting, also enjoyed gardening, camping. Being very close to her family, she enjoyed spending time with her mother, her sisters and brothers and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Lisa is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Daniel Hubert, one daughter, Misty Denny and her husband, Wes, Leopold, Indiana, three sons, Jesse, Kegan and Dillon Hubert, all of St. Croix, her mother, Charlotte Sturdevant of Jasper and her father, Roman Heichelbech of Huntingburg. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Lowell (Dale) Sturdevant. Lisa has three sisters, Lynn Kluesner, Dubois, Indiana, Julie Heichelbech, New Boston, Indiana and Tina Gill, Jasper, Indiana, two brothers, Wade Rothrock, Jasper, Indiana and Clint Rothrock, Loogootee, Indiana, two half-sisters, Nickie Trinidad and Helen Dupont, both of Huntingburg, Indiana and four step-sisters. Lisa has three grandchildren, Kindra and April Mangel and Alex Denny. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST Thursday, December 10, 2009 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow, Indiana with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Guy Mansini OSB will officiate. Visitation is from 2:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday and 8:00 - 9:00 AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, where a memorial prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Church or Cemetery, or the Lisa Hubert Benefit Fund c/o First State Bank, Tell City, Indiana
