Linda Wroe

Tell City, Indiana - Linda Wroe, 96, passed away on July 30, 2018, at Golden Living Center. She was born in Christ Church, England on May 30, 1922 to the late Eli and Agnes (Hedges) Gregory. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Richard A. Wroe; a daughter, Donna Zuelly; son, Bill Wroe; granddaughter, Jennifer Wroe; grandson, Larry Walls; sisters, Daisy Thorn, May Toy and Edie Gregory; brothers, Bill, George and Reginald Gregory. Linda retired in 1996 from Yaggi's Catering. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and watching her squirrels and hummingbirds. Surviving are her children, Carol Stillwell, Grandview, Greg Wroe (Melinda), Tell City, Darrell Wroe (Marilyn Parker), Tell City and Jack Wroe (Carolyn Cronin), Tell City; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in New Hope Cemetery near Grandview. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and 8:30-11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
