Linda Jane King, 84, passed away on February 5, 2025.

She was born in Bolivar, Missouri on July 11, 1940, to the late John and Jewell (Scoville) Coffey.

Linda was veteran of the United States Air Force. She had retired from General Electric and was an active member of Deer Creek Baptist Church where she enjoyed volunteering and spending time with her church family. 

Linda was a simple woman who was kind, independent and personable. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed knitting, quilting, bird watching, cooking and loved to travel. 

Surviving is her son, David King (Donna); grandsons, Doug Pratte and Mark Pratte; a nephew, Scott Coffey and great grandson, Devon Pratte.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Rita Pratte and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Baptist Church.
