Linda Lou Ball, 85, passed away December 6, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 7, 1939, to Walter and Hazel (Brown) Amos.
Linda retired in 2001 from Masterbrand after 26 years. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
On June 30, 1992, Linda married Harold Ball, sharing 26 years together until his passing in 2018.
Linda loved to dance and attend auctions. She loved her dogs, Coco and Fat Girl; however, her greatest blessing was her family and spending time with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Frank Sabelhaus, Jr. (Darlene), Richard Sabelhaus, Kathy Sabelhaus (Mark Ramsey), DeWayne Sabelhaus (Stacey), Laura Ruby (Bobby Joe), Robin Ambs (Richard) and Steve Sabelhaus (Carla); stepchildren, Jerry Ball (Kathy) and Debbie Voght; siblings Sharon Mullis, Bill Amos, Donna Kratzer, Allen Amos, Marilyn McDaniel, Mary Amos, Martha Graves and Jo Sodrel and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William “Harold” Ball; daughter, Diana James; grandchildren, Frank Sabelhaus, Fred Merritt, Sean Schlachter, Wesley Steven Sabelhaus and Shawn Riley; siblings, Pat Reed, Carolyn Amon, Jerry Amos, Terri Moore and Bonnie Sabelhaus and a son-in-law, George Holmes.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Kyle Reaka will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00-11:00 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
