Leonard Gann Jr.

Leonard Gann, Jr., 65, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on July 22, 1946. His parents were the late Leonard and Opal (Bohannon) Gann. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Gann, Sr. Leonard married Elsie Harlen on August 8, 1969. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and going to casinos. Surviving are his wife, Elsie; daughter, Opal Sermersheim (Brock), Velpen; stepsons, Victor and Darrell Kelsey, Velpen; a step grandson, Brent Persohn and four step great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Gilliland Cemetery near Derby. There will be no visitation at Huber Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
