Tell City, Indiana Lennie "Jean" Walters, 75, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Lincoln Hills. She was born on March 3, 1939, in Pellville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leonard and Ernestine (Voyles) Barker. Also preceding her in death were a grandson, Bryan Lee Wardrip and a son-in-law Harold Edwin Moss. Jean was a member of West Point Baptist Church in Roseville, Kentucky and had worked at Tell City Chair and William Tell Woodcrafters. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to flea markets and collecting antiques and glassware. She is survived by her husband Don Walters; daughters, Ginger Paul (Dan), Mystic, Connecticut, Robin Robinson (Bill), Tell City; sons, Danny Wardrip (Alma), Tell City, Dennis Wardrip (Lisa), Tell City, Jerry Wardrip (Lisa), Evansville; step-sons, Danny Walters (Melissa), Georgetown, Timmy Walters (Deb), Asheville, North Carolina, Billy Wardrip, Chicago; step-daughters, Maggie Owaynat (Steven), California; sisters, Iva Sue Boarman, Owensboro, Judy Freels (Mike), Owensboro; brother, Ronnie Joe Barker, Owensboro; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Veltri Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Wednesday.
