Lee Litherland

Cannelton, Indiana - Lee Litherland, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Perry County on October 22, 1941, son of the late Samuel W. and Lillian G. (Popp) Litherland. Also preceding him in death were his siblings, Kenneth Litherland, Donnie Litherland and Martha Anita "Muff" Litherland and a granddaughter, Shania Litherland. Lee married Frances Nadine Myers on July 12, 1962 in Cannelton. He retired from Alcoa and had also worked at Schwab Safe Company. Lee enjoyed coon hunting, tending to his cattle and farming. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Frances Litherland; daughter, Roxanne Schroeder (Pat); son, Norbert L. Litherland, Jr. "Bub" (Gwen); brother, Pat "Bud" Litherland; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Lee preferred to have no funeral services. Huber Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Heart Association.
