Branchville, Indiana Larry E. Pollard, 67, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his home. He was born in Tell City, Indiana on February 21, 1951 to the late Randall E. and Bobby Jean (Gaither) Pollard. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Mike Pollard. Larry was a 1969 graduate of Perry Central High School. He owned Pollard Electric and Pollard Farms and was currently working with International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181. He enjoyed watching IU basketball, hunting, fishing, farming and working. Larry loved to spend time with his family, especially his "Boo Bear", Colton. Surviving are his children, Chris Pollard (Tiffany), Branchville, Eric Taylor (Tammy), Dale, and Ruthann Novak (Cory), Marengo; sisters, Pam Guillaume (John "Jed"), Tell City, Jeannie Williams (Brian), Mt. Pleasant and Bev Alvey (Doug, Jr.), Gatchel; grandchildren, Colton Pollard, Nikki Parr (Derrick) and Dakota Novak; great-grandson, Gunner Parr; his aunt, Suzie Huck, Tell City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Eddie Olberding will officiate. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery in Branchville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund that will be established for his grandson, Colton.
