Larry T. Knox, 73, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at his home. He was born in Madisonville, Kentucky, on January 24, 1948, son of John T. and Freda (Clevenger) Knox who preceded him in death, along with his daughter, Kristy (Knox) James. Larry was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Cooper on April 3, 1968 in Evansville, Indiana. They were married for 52 years. He retired from United Parcel Service, in Colorado, where he worked in management. Larry enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors, especially his recent hunting trip to Texas, with his brother, where they hunted wild boar. Surviving is his wife, Sandy Knox, Hawesville, Kentucky; son, Kevin Knox (Jamie), Mesa, Arizona; son-in-law, Doyle James, Hawesville, Kentucky; brothers, Terry Knox (Patti), Mount Carmel, Illinois and Keith Knox (Dee Dee), San Antonio, Texas and grandchildren, Missy and Zach Scott, Rylan and Kaedree Knox, Kameron and Diandra Phelps, Mielah and Evan Pierce and Skylar and Alex James. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM CST on Saturday, February 13, 2021, with visitation from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Masks are to be worn while visiting the funeral home, with social distancing practiced. Memorial contributions may be made to his family to assist with funeral arrangements.
