Larry Beatty

Larry Beatty, a lifelong member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, passed away on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2020. Because of restrictions in place at the time due to the pandemic, no public service was held. To honor Larry's legacy and to give the public an opportunity to pay their respects to the family, a Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. on the lawn at Evangelical United Church of Christ, 10th and Jefferson Streets, Tell City. Rev. Jeff McCarn will officiate. In the event of inclement weather, the gathering will be moved to the sanctuary. Just as Larry would have wanted, the gathering will be informal. All church members, former students, friends of the family, and community members are invited to attend. A private burial of Larry's cremains will take place at the Schraner Family Cemetery shortly after the Celebration of Life.
