Landis Jones

Cannelton, Indiana - Landis Marcell Jones, 27, passed away on October 17, 2012 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi on August 28, 1985. Landis married Jessica (Blunk) in Evansville on June, 1, 2011. Landis was a team trainer at Arby's in Tell City. He enjoyed listening to music, family cookouts, video games, cooking and spending time with his children. Surviving him are his wife, Jessica Jones; mother, Vanessa Leighton; daughters, Jazmyne Jones, Egypt Blunk and Damiana Thomas; sister, Jennie Brown and brother, Kenneth Jones. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Pastor Bob Campbell will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
