Kristy James

Hawesville, Kentucky Kristy L. James, 45, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at her home. She was born in Okinawa, Japan, October 19, 1969, daughter of Larry and Sandra (Cooper) Knox. Kristy was a 1994 graduate of Chatfield High School in Littleton, Colorado. She was united in marriage to Doyle James at Agape' Church in Cannelton, on September 1, 2012. Kristy worked at CVS in Tell City. She was a Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed reading and fishing. She is survived by her husband Doyle James, Hawesville; parents, Larry and Sandy Knox, Hawesville; son, Zachary "Zach" A. Scott, Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Melissa "Missy" K. Scott, Lewisport; step-sons, Skyler James and Alex James, both of Midland, Michigan; brother, Kevin Knox (Jamie), Mesa, Arizona. Kristy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Wanda Cooper and John and Freda Knox. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Estes Cooper Cemetery in Hancock County, Kentucky. Bro. Bob Campbell will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contribution may be given to the family for help with funeral expenses.
