Kim Bolin

Cannelton, Indiana - Kimberly D. Bolin, 57, passed away on August 20, 2022 at Owensboro Regional Health Hospital in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born in Tell City on September 24, 1964, daughter of Donald L. and Judith D. (Wilson) James. A 1982 graduate of Cannelton High School, Kim had worked as an aide and caregiver for Lincoln Hills Nursing Home. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, listening to music, watching cooking shows, reading (especially Harlequin romance novels) and always looked forward to visits from her family and friends. Surviving is her husband of 34 years, Kenny Bolin; father, Donald James; sons, Jesse Watkins (Chris) and Cody Bolin (Mandy); grandchildren; McKenzie, McKayla, Karlie and Jackson Bolin; brothers, Tony James (Judy), Jasper and Scott James, Tell City. Her mother, Judy James preceded her in death. The family is especially appreciative of Lee Ann Clausen's exceptional care and dedication to Kim and friendship shown to her family. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Pastor Ann Skiba will officiate. A private burial will be held in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. The family would appreciate that any contributions made in her memory be given to Huber Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
