Kevin Wiseman

Branchville, Indiana –

Kevin R. Wiseman, 53, passed away, unexpectedly, on August 24, 2024.

He was born in Tell City on May 28, 1971, son of Jack and Clara (Gerlach) Wiseman and was a 1989 graduate of Tell City High School. On December 28, 1991, he married the love of his life, Shannon M. Haaff. Kevin had been working Jasper Rubber for the last 33 years.

He has always loved to deer hunt, fish and tinker on anything and everything. Kevin could fix or repair anything and never backed down from the challenge of working on something new. If he wasn’t working his day job as a department manager, he was at home…working on something. Kevin was generous with his time and talents, always willing to lend a hand to help others. He was a simple man who worked hard and was appreciated and adored by his family, especially by his grandchildren.

His wife of 32 years, Shannon Wiseman survives him, along with his children, Chris Wiseman, Blaine Wiseman (Chelsea) and Jordan Barger (Ben); grandchildren, Myanna and Shyleah Wiseman, Clay and Jase Wiseman and Troy and Paizlyn Barger; sisters, Linda Carter (Ralph) and Donna Marcum and a brother, Gary Wiseman.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Wiseman and Clara Staats; sister, Kathy Dauby and brothers, Rick and Dennis Wiseman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Troy Cemetery. The visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday.
