Kenny Hinton

Tell City, Indiana Kenny Hinton, 87, passed away on November 19, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was born April 14, 1926 in Perry County, son of the late James E. and Rosa M. (Anderson) Hinton. Also preceding him in death was his wife Helen (Thorn) Hinton, a sister in infancy, Lilly Hinton; sisters, Lucille Kelly and Mary Wallenmeyer; brothers, Bill, John and Earl Hinton and a great granddaughter, Jasmine Cronin. Kenny retired from General Electric where he worked for over 40 years. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Kenny enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and his grandchildren. Surviving are his daughter, Diane Cronin (Randy); sons, Steven Hinton and David Hinton (Carylon); sisters, Frieda Seabolt, Alice Criss, Ruth Huff and Ada Blinzinger; grandchildren, Angela Goffinet, Amanda Cronin and David Hinton, Jr.; great grandchildren, Samuel and Xander Paris, Mason Smith, Dreama and C.J. Cronin, Cole and Rylie Goffinet and Jaxton Hinton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Deer Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Dr. Elmer Shelby will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 until 10:30 AM on Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
