Kenneth N. "Kenny" Kratzer, 77, passed away on July 18, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Spencer County October 3, 1941 son of the late Elmer and Lucy (Moore) Kratzer. Kenny was 1959 graduate of Cannelton High School and U.S. Army veteran. He was united in marriage January 25, 1964 to Donna Amos at Evangelical United Church of Christ, where they are both members. Kenny retired in 2004 from Domtar in Hawesville, Kentucky. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Kratzer; daughter, Kim Myers (Bruce), Cannelton; sons, Kevin Kratzer (Denise Smith), Tell City, and Keith Kratzer (Michelle), Hawesville; brother, Donald Kratzer; grandchildren, Felicia Dupont (Ethan), Nakaa Myers, Jourdan Kratzer, Brittany Jackson, Keaton Kratzer, Tyler Kratzer, Alex Kratzer, Jacklyn Smith and Gage Smith and great grandchildren, Elli Dupont, Piper Dupont, Camden Myers, Emmalyn Kratzer, Laney Jackson, Jace Riddle and Tessa Riddle; half brother, Elmer "Junior" Kratzer, Huntingburg; half sisters, Pat, Mary Ann and Beckie; half-brother, Elmer "Junior" Kratzer, Huntingburg; step-sisters, Rita and Gladys; step-brothers, BoBo and Frank. Preceding him in death were his siblings, Marjorie Lawson, Juanita Veach, Carol Sue Terry, Bill and Albert Kratzer, half-brother, John Kratzer and step-sister, Tyke Rohl. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton, where there will be military graveside rites. Rev. Jeff McCarn will officiate. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Heart to Heart Hospice.
