Kenneth Jackson

Cannelton, Indiana - Kenny Jackson, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, on May 16, 1940. His parents were the late J.B. and Louise (Smith) Jackson. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, in infancy and a half brother, Johnny Jackson. Kenny was united in marriage to Mary Katherine "Kat" Nugent on July 10, 1959, in Cloverport, Kentucky. She passed away February 3, 2013. He retired from Century Aluminum where he worked for over 30 years. He was active in the former Cannelton Jaycees and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Kenny is survived by sons; Tim Jackson (Kim) of Cannelton and Scott Jackson (Clemmie) of Lewisport, Kentucky; a daughter, Stacy Schraner of Evansville; sisters, Peggy Harrison of Cloverport, Kentucky and Debbie Brown of Kokomo, Indiana; a brother, Bobby Jackson, Hardinsburg, Kentucky and grandchildren, Cliff Jackson, Jordan and Jaylin Schraner, and Austin and Danny Nyhuise and Jersey Ingram. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton, Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Memorial may be made to Perry County Humane Society.
