Keith Levy, Sr.

Keith L. Levy, Sr., 79, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born April 12, 1934 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, son of the late Lemuel and Muriel (Davidson) Levy. Keith was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Long. Keith retired from Commercial Filters in 1995 after 43 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking drives in the country and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife; Lillian (Crowell) Levy; daughter, Sheryl Peter (John), Tell City;sons; Jamie Levy (Audra), Jasper and Keith Levy Jr. (Marty), New Albany; sister, Darlene Turner, Halifax, Nova Scotia; brothers, Laurie Levy, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Ian Levy, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Wade Levy, Toronto, Canada; 5 grandchildren, Jay Peter, Natalie Peter, Grant Levy, Hannah Levy and Joel Levy. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
