Kathy Lawalin

Cannelton, Indiana Kathy Jo Lawalin, 58, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 at Heartford House in Owensboro. She was born in Tell City, January 28, 1958, daughter of the late James Greathouse and Alma Jean Ferguson. Also preceding her in death are brothers, Mike and Rick Greathouse, and a sister in infancy. Kathy was married on June 21, 1997 to Steve Lawalin. She had worked for Masterbrand and was a member of Community Christian Church. She enjoyed camping and fishing, baking, cooking, gardening, going to flea markets and yard sales, reading her Bible, and spending time with her granddaughters. She is survived by her husband Steve Lawalin of Cannelton; her children, Heather Joest of Evansville and Jason Herrmann of Athens, TN; a brother, Darren Greathouse of English; granddaughters, Natalie and Audrey Cronin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will be in Lamb Cemetery, Tobinsport. Pastor Errol Wright, Pastor Ben Rake and Pastor Milton Pledger will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-8:00PM CST and Tuesday 9:00-11:00 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Mitchell Cancer Center in Owensboro, KY.
