Kathy Hammond

Tell City, Indiana Kathy A. Hammond, 64, passed away December 9, 2014 at Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born in Perry County, March 30, 1950 daughter of the late Allen J. Esarey and Alberta (Bruggenschmidt) Klueh Esarey. Kathy was a 1968 graduate of Perry Central High School and Owensboro Business College. She had been employed at Sargent Oil, and retired as an accountant from Industrial Petroleum Supply, both located in Owensboro, Kentucky. Kathy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Owensboro, and enjoyed being with family and friends. She is survived by her husband; William Raleigh Hammond, Owensboro; sisters, Patti DuPre (Tom), Tell City and Mary Lee Foster (Mark), Bristow; brother, Gary A. Esarey (Joan), Tell City; nieces and nephews, Ashley DuPre Ridenour, Michael DuPre, Amy Layman, Todd Hammond, Kurt Hammond, Erin Key and Emily Brewer; step-nephews, Mark Foster, Jr. Bristow, Ryan Pfiefer, Leopold and Cody Pfeifer, Tell City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Timothy Sweeney O.S.B. will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday and from 8:00 until 9:00 AM Friday at Huber Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church or St. Isidore Cemetery.
