Kathryn Eades

Tell City, Indiana Kathryn J. ""Katie"" Eades, 92, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 at her home. She was born July 14, 1916 in Tell City, Indiana daughter of the late Joseph G. and Mattie Clyde (Shivers) Jordan. Also preceding her in death was her husband Billie Eades in 1988 and a son Robert Edward Eades in 1997. Katie was a homemaker and seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church in Tell City. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and collected salt and pepper shakers. She is survived by: Daughter - Joe Sue Denney, Florissant, Missouri Half-Brother - Joseph Wayne Jordan, Texas 7 Grandchildren Several great and great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Lee Brown will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 3:00 until 6:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
