Kathleen Phelps

Tell City, Indiana Kathleen Phelps, 86, passed away at 4:44 AM Sunday December 18, 2005 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. Kathleen was born July 6, 1919 in Newtonville, Indiana the daughter of the late William Logan and Rosalie (Seibert) Quick. She married Alfred Phelps June 25, 1938. Mr. Phelps passed away in 1982. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Carol Phelps in infancy, two sons, Raymond and Darrel Phelps, and two brothers, William and Clarence Quick. A graduate of Grandview High School, she retired from General Electric in Tell City. Kathleen enjoyed being with her family, nature, fishing, and taking drives around the county. She is survived by: One daughter: Bessie P. Werne, St. Meinrad, Indiana One son: Ronald A. Phelps, Indianapolis, Indiana One sister: Margaret Bradley, Mt. Vernon, Indiana Seven grandchildren Eleven great grandchildren Funeral services will be 11:00 AM EST Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery at Gatchel. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery.
