Katherine Ward

Cannelton, IN Katherine D. "Kay" Ward, 72, passed away on January 26, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Meadeville, Pennsylvania on February 28, 1944. Preceding her in death were her parents, her son, Raymond Ward and her brother, Stanley Allen. A member of Agape Community Church, Kay enjoyed working in the Agape Thrift Store in Cannelton. She was very fond of her pets, especially her dog and two cats. Surviving are her husband, Murray "Handy Man" Ward, Cannelton; a daughter, Lisa Ward, Cannelton; a brother, Robert Allen, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Pastor Tony Kimbril and Pastor Bob Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM and Monday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Agape Community Church.
