Leopold, Indiana Karl J. James, 35, passed away at 2:48 AM Sunday September 17, 2006 as a result of an automobile accident in rural Perry County. Karl was born February 4, 1971 in Perry County the son of Doyle and Vicki (Hahus) James. He was a furnace operator at Aleris International, formerly Commonwealth Aluminum in Hancock County, Kentucky. Karl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard & Freda (Gibson) Hahus and Earl James. A member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers. He is survived by: His daughter, Kaila Rene' James at home His son, Kole Liam James at home His parents, Doyle and Vicki (Hahus) James, Mt. Pleasant, Indiana His brother, Korey Lane James, Leopold, Indiana His grandmother, Marie (Etienne) James, Tell City, Indiana A friend, Renee James There will be no visitation or funeral services at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Children Memorial Fund C/O First State Bank in Tell City.
