June Thiery

Evanston, Indiana June Thiery, 68, passed away September 1, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro, November 7, 1946, daughter of the late Malcolm "Mac" Ogle and Senada (Rice) Ogle Craft. Also preceding her in death was daughter, Deborah Gayle Jones and sister, Carol Ballard. June enjoyed sewing, reading, her dogs, and doing yardwork and going to the boat. She had been a bartender and manager at American Legion Post #213 in Tell City. She is survived by her husband Ed Thiery; daughters, Diana Williams, Littleton, CO and Kena Bolin, Cannelton, IN; sons, Dwayne Jones, Cloverport, KY and Eddie Thiery, Greenfield, IN; sisters, Rita Brown, Sevierville,TN and Janet Taylor Wapella, IL; half-brother, Mike Craft, Hawesville, KY; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2015, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:30 until 7:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter.
