Julius Volgemann

Tell City, Indiana - Julius W. "Junior" Volgemann, 82, passed away on September 8, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was born in Tell City on November 4, 1929. His parents were the late Julius Volgemann and Louise (Becker) Volgemann Mosby. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Dorothy Hinton and Betty Zuelly and brothers, William and Paul Volgemann. "Junior" retired from Best Chairs and enjoyed animals and being outdoors. He was known to tell people that he had three daughters and three sons because he was thankful for his sons in law being a part of his family. Surviving him are his daughters, Diana Goffinet (Charlie), Mount Pleasant, Karen Beard (Rick), Tell City and Sandy Berger (Paul), Cannelton; grandchildren, Karey Jo Goffinet, Holly Goffinet, Andy Goffinet, Michele Walker, Casey Threlkeld, Heather Girten and Brandon Berger; great grandchildren, Trent Hoesli, Aiden Alvey, Cole Peckenpaugh, Cassidy Walker, Kendra Davis, Corey Walker, Kayley Walker, Harlan Threlkeld and Batie Girten. There will be no funeral visitation or funeral services at Huber Funeral Home as per Junior's request.
