Julius Underhill

St. Croix, Indiana - Julius M. Underhill, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Cypress Grove Health Care in Newburgh. He was born in Tell City on October 5, 1940. His parents were the late Novel Underhill and Elsie (Wright) Underhill Rhodes. Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Lisa Stowe; a son, Jeffery Underhill and a sister, Delorse Purcell. Surviving are his daughters, Julie Gunn (Jon), Santa Claus, Indiana and Debbie Higginson (Jim), Cameron, West Virginia; sisters, Mary Hill, St. Croix and Novie Floyd, Shepherdsville, Kentucky; brothers, Tom Underhill, Bristow, David and Danny Underhill, both of Doolittle Mills; 6grandchildren, Kelly Wagoner, Abby Kamuf, Jimmy Higginson, Jordyne Higginson, Frankie Stowe and Chelsea Stowe; 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Bethel Christian Church in Doolittle Mills, with burial in Underhill Cemetery. Bro. Tom Nixon will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Christian Church.
