Tell City, Indiana Julia M. LeMaire, 90, passed away May 5, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born June 15, 1925 in Bristow, Indiana, daughter of the late Walter and Lucy (Lanman) Esarey. Also preceding her in death were brothers, Mac and Murl Esarey and sisters, Rebecca Rickenbaugh, Elsie McDaniel and Dorothy Pierrard. Julia was a 1945 graduate of Bristow High School. She was united in marriage to Dallas LeMaire at St. Augustine Catholic Church on November 26, 1949. Julia had worked for General Electric and Hook's Drug Store. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary. Julia enjoyed quilting, sewing and creating her photo albums. Her true love was her family. She loved spending time her son, grandchildren, her sweet sister Dorothy, and family. Her last few years where filled spending time with Dallas and together they were quite an amazing duo. She was the matriarch of her family, she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dallas LeMaire, son Duane LeMaire, his wife Tammy, and their children, Carson and Regan LeMaire, of Portland, Oregon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Friday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities, 702 E. Market St., New Albany, Indiana 47150.
