Judith Kay "Judy" Rhodes, 75, passed away on November 5, 2022 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on February 27, 1947 to Joseph "Jack" and Bobbie (McCormick) Peak. Judy was a 1965 graduate of Tell City High School where she was high school sweethearts with Bill Rhodes. They soon married on August 7, 1965 at St. Paul Catholic Church and 57 years later, they were still the loves of one another's life. Judy worked as waitress and hostess for over 20 years at the Patio Steakhouse. Judy loved her family fiercely and was most proud of being a Nana. A natural homemaker, she looked forward to hosting holidays that would usually end with her and her sisters' dancing. She was a great cook with a massive collection of cookbooks. Judy enjoyed her herb and flower gardens and true crime documentaries. Surviving is her beloved husband Bill Rhodes, Tell City; daughter, Missy Huber (Mike), Tell City; grandchildren, Ross Wilgus, Braedon (Emily), Garrick and Addie Huber; sister, Toni Peak, Tell City; brothers, Phillip Peak, Savannah, GA and Mike Peak, Tell City; nephew and niece, Ian and Madison Peak and her dog, Gabby. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Joe Peak and a sister, Stacey Peak. Per Judy's request, there will be no services. Huber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and are both honored and privileged to be entrusted with Judy's care. If you would like to honor her memory a memorial contribution may be made to the Perry County Animal Shelter as Judy loved animals.
