John Winter

John N. winter of Tell City, Indiana passed away on April 8, 2017 after a brief illness. He married Julie Dykema Ellison on February 14, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana. John was a self-employed architect and contractor and bred and trained Arabian race horses. He was an accomplished woodturner. Surviving are his wife; Julie Winter and his children, John N. Winter III of Evansville, Indiana; Shannon Davidson of Taos, New Mexico; Sue Spradling of Hillsborough, California; John Abel of Harrison, Arkansas; Clay Pierse of Castle Rock, Colorado and many grandchildren. Huber Funeral Home has handled his arrangements. There will be no public services. Memorials, in John's name may be made to the Perry County Horse Rescue.
