John Sandage

Tell City, Indiana John Russell Sandage, 47, formerly of Perry County, died at 1:00 AM Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at his home in Elberfeld, Indiana. John was born in Perry County on December 9, 1961, son of the late Verna Sandage and Helen Nelson Williams who survives. In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Charlie Sandage and his wife, the former Lesa Sprinkle in 2005. John was a mechanic and had been employed at Randy Aubrey Dodge in Cannelton and Mid America Powered Vehicles in Evansville. He enjoyed restoring garden tractors, classic vehicles and Dodge trucks. John loved spending time with his son and all of the family. John is survived by one son, Dylan Sandage, Elberfeld, Indiana His mother, Helen Williams, Dale, Indiana Three brothers, Pete Sandage, Indianapolis, Indiana Ron Sandage, Tell City, Indiana Chester Sandage, St. Meinrad, Indiana One sister, Starletta Meyers, St. Meinrad, Indiana Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 21, 2009 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, Indiana. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 - 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dylan Sandage Education Fund.
