John Robson

Cannelton, Indiana - John Edward "Pondo" Robson, 70, passed away at 10:25 PM on April 13, 2014, at The Waters of Scottsburg. He was born on December 28, 1943, in Perry County. His parents were the late Thomas and Marie (Roberts) Robson. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Fredaellen Burgoyne and Ola Louise Reid and his brother, James Robson. A member of St. Michael Catholic Church, he was a self-employed auto mechanic. He is survived by his sisters, JoAnn Hinds, Indianapolis and Rosemary House, Louisville; brother, William "Bill" Robson, Cannelton and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church Restoration Fund.
