John Fuchs

Tell City, Indiana - John W. Fuchs, 84, passed away on June 25, 2012, at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born in Louisville on October, 27, 1927. His parents were the late Joseph and Gertrude (Baunach) Fuchs. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Mary Yates and a brother, Joseph Fuchs. A U.S. Navy veteran, John married Judy Webb on September 4, 1970, in Springfield, Tennessee. He retired in 1991, from Perry-Spencer Telephone Co-op, where he was an accountant. John was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed playing golf. Surviving are his wife, Judy (Webb) Fuchs, Tell City; daughter, Paula Berry (George), Harleysville, Pennsylvania; sister, Angela Hartman, Sellersburg, Indiana; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 29, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 until 10:30 AM on Friday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. The burial will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweeden, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Debt Reduction Fund or American Heart Association.
