John Dupont

Tell City, Indiana - John Ray Dupont, 64, passed away March 18, 2016 at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born in Tell City, Indiana on March 6, 1953 to the late John A. and Virginia (Simpson) Dupont. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Dupont; sister, Charlotte Johnson and brother, Frank Dupont. John had been a member of the Indiana National Guard and was retired from Commonwealth Aluminum. Surviving are his daughter, Ginger Harpenau and husband, Kevin, Hawesville, KY; grandson, Tyler Simpson and step grandchildren, Spencer and Shelby Harpenau; a sister, Virginia O'Dell, Tell City; and brother, Barry Dupont, Tell City. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Brother David Nix will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
