John Bernardi

Cannelton, Indiana Rick Bernardi, 36, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at his home. Rick was born April 6, 1973 in Tell City, to John Fredrick and Brenda Muriel (Fisher) Bernardi. Rick was preceded in death by a brother Jeffery Bernardi and grandparents, John and Betty Fisher and Irvin and Mary Bernardi. He was a 1992 graduate of Cannelton High School. Rick worked in construction, was a member of the Cannelton Volunteer Fire Department, enjoyed drag racing and watching wrestling. Rick is survived by: His parents - Fred and Brenda (Fisher) Bernardi, Cannelton Daughter - Star Bernardi, Cannelton Sister - Candy Bernardi, Tell City Niece - Katilyn Bernardi, Tell City Nephew - Jeffery Bernardi, Tell City Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, March 1, 2010, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, followed by a brief service at the Cannelton Volunteer Fire Department, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday and on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time. There will be a Cannelton Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Service at 7:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Pastor Dea Goad will officiate at the funeral home and Frank Maffia, chaplain, will conduct services at the Fire Department. Memorial contributions may be made to Cannelton Volunteer Fire Department.
