Johanna Rager

Cannelton, Indiana Johanna M. "Jo-Ann" Rager, 63, passed away August 26, 2020. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on October 18, 1956 to the late James William Cronin, Sr. and Helen G. (Layman) DeVillez. Jo-Ann was united in marriage on October 23, 2004 to Tim Rager. She had worked as a CNA for several years at Oakwood Health Campus and retired last year from ABBCO Cleaning Service. Jo-Ann lived for adventure. She loved the outdoors and swimming, her flowers, heading to Friday After 5 in Owensboro with a Barq's root beer and loved her dogs, Sophie Alice and Maddie Lynn. She is survived by her husband, Tim Rager, Tell City; step son, Andy Rager, Jasper; siblings, Mae Lynch (Larry), Eckerty, IN, Willie Cronin, Tell City, Leona James, Lewisport, KY, Mary Harrison, Jasper, Suzie Skeen, Cannelton, Michael Cronin, Owensboro and Joe Cronin (Cheryl), Tell City; several nieces and nephews, including, Kristiann Franchville (Billy Thomas) and Michelle Weedman (Billy); as well as other family and friends, Terry and Kim Leistner, Barb Cooper and Amber Wilbur, who visited her almost daily. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Bro. Eddie Olberding will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
