Jo Flohr

Tell City, Indiana Jo Flohr, 59, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Oakwood Health Campus. Jo was born in Dallas, Texas on January 2, 1950 daughter of the late Douglas and Hazel (Yocham) Pledger. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Wanda Anderson. Jo married Al Flohr August 14, 1978 in Louisiana. A homemaker, she had previously worked as a LPN for Dr. Dowlut for several years. Jo was a member of Community Christian Church and worked in the Children's Ministry there. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. Survivors are: Husband of 31 years, Al Flohr Daughter, Lisa Dickens, Tell City Son, Christopher A. Flohr, Tell City Sister, Charlotte Oehlschlaeger, Sachse, Texas Brother, Pastor Milton Pledger, Santa Claus 3 Grandchildren, Garrett and Braylie Dickens and Owen Flohr Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Community Christian Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Milton Pledger will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel and on Thursday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Church Children's Ministry.
