Jill Northerner

Evansville, Indiana –

Jill A. Northener, 76, passed away on January 25, 2024, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

She was born in Elkhart, daughter of Glendon and Dorothy (Troyer) Ferguson.

Jill was a 1965 graduate of Bosse High School. She married Jerry F. Northener on June 19, 1965, in Evansville.

Jill retired from Macy’s in Eastland Mall. She enjoyed attending services at Grace Baptist Church, making various crafts, but most importantly, was thankful for her family and the time she could spend with them.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jerry Northener; children, Mark Northener (Becky), Cannelton, Mindi Schirtzinger (Cecil), Mount Vernon and Michelle Moorman (John Maxwell), Evansville; sister, Jan Clark (Kenny) Jackson, Louisiana; brother, Rick Crowe (Chris) Boonville and grandchildren, Charlie and Logan Northener, Jillian and Janell Schirtzinger and Jerrod and Lindsey Moorman.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Joe Ferguson and a sister, Judy Nelson.

As per Jill’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House.

Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is assisting the family with her arrangements.
