Jessica Hill

Tell City, Indiana Jessica Dawn Hill, 46, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She was born in Tell City on August 21, 1975, daughter of David W. and Sharlene M. (White) Crossley. Jessica was united in marriage on October 23, 1993 to William Eric Hill at Freewill Baptist Church in Cannelton. She was employed at Jasper Engines as an inspector until illness made it unable for her to continue working. She was proud to be a Mary Kay consultant. Jessica enjoyed going to the beach, swimming in her pool, reading (especially anything by Grace Livingston Hill), running 5K's and supporting her kids in their sporting events. She shared her gift of singing and playing piano at her church, Victory Baptist in New Salisbury. Surviving is her husband of 28 years, Eric Hill; children, Erica Higginbotham (J.D.), Corydon, Felicia Hilgenhold (Hayden), Bloomington, Eli Hill and Alyssa Hill, Tell City; grandchildren, Jace and Rylee Higginbotham; parents, David and Sharlene Crossley, Cannelton; brother, Jason Crossley (Julia), Gentryville and sister, Wendy Meserve (Brady), Tell City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Marty Huddleston and Brother Ron Ammon will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church Food Bank, where Jessica often volunteered.
