Tell City, Indiana Jeff T. Chapman, 47, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born August 14, 1963 in Tell City. Jeff married Diane Dauby June 11, 1983 at St. Isidore Catholic Church who survives him. He worked at Waupaca Foundry for the last thirteen years. Jeff was a member of Windward Heights County Club, Evanston Men's Horseshoe League, and played for the Tell City Men's and Co-Ed Softball Teams for the past 25 years. He loved playing golf and enjoyed NASCAR, following his girls in their sports during high school and spending time with his grandsons. Jeff is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diane Chapman, daughters, Claire Ransom (C.J.), Tell City, Ashley Chapman (David Marsh), Cannelton, and Kelli Chapman, Tell City, his parents, Carl and Roberta Chapman, Tell City, mother Shirley McFall, Tell City; sisters, Delores Mullis (Ben), Leopold, Loretta Parker (Steve), Tell City, Julie Carter (Mike), Cannelton, Carla VanHoosier (Jeff), Tell City; brothers, Brian Chapman (Chrissy), Indianapolis, and Brad Chapman, Tell City; grandsons, Dylan and Mason; mother-in-law Marietta Dauby, Tell City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in law, William B. ""Bill"" Dauby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2011 at St. Isidore Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Guy Mansini O.S.B. will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday and from 8:00 until 9:00 AM on Monday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Cemetery or Tell City High School Athletics.
