Jean Marchand

Troy, Indiana Jean Y. Marchand, 80, passed away July 27, 2018, surrounded by her family at Transcendent Health Care in Boonville, Indiana. She was born in Troy, Indiana on May 27, 1938 to the late Cecil Frizzell, Sr. and Verlee (Harp) Frizzell. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph E. Marchand in 2006 and a niece, Sara Frizzell. Jean was a graduate of Troy High School, where she was salutatorian. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and T.O.P.S. Jean collected salt and pepper shakers and enjoyed sewing, painting ceramics, making crafts and she loved her animals, especially her miniature dachshunds. Surviving are her children, Dan Marchand, and his wife, Sheila Mae, Tennyson, IN, Dee Marchand, Cannelton, IN and Dusty Marchand, and his wife, Julie, Boonville, IN; a brother, Cecil Frizzell, and his companion Karla Trefftzs, Tennyson, IN; grandchildren, Brandy Hall, Brian Marchand, Brandon Marchand, Haley Hemmings, Amanda Johnson, Sara Long, Kaleigh Goldman, Tiphani Goldman and Blayze Marchand; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-9:00 PM CST and Tuesday from 9:00-11:00 AM CST at funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Rivalz Evansville Alzheimer's Association or the Perry County Animal Shelter.
